Meet the Reviewers

Current Reviewer(s):

My name is Lori.  I am a mom to three amazingly nerdy boys, a wife to a wonderful man and a lover of words. While I have lived in Michigan and Florida, I somehow always seem to find myself back in Texas. I started blogging in January 2013.  My goal is to spread the word about books and authors that have affected me in some way. When I love a book I just want everyone to read it and love it with me. Unless otherwise specified, all posts here on Ficwishes are from me.

Nikki spends half her time at the gym and the other half of her time wondering why she is single, which gets old really fast so she reads instead. She loves cats, shopping, cartoons, good music and great friends. She loves to read dystopian, paranormal, steampunk, horror, erotica and even a bit of sci fi. She is an avid Manchester United fan and a total dork.

Amber S. is a Stay at home mom who has too much time
on her hands. A self proclaimed 'Book Whore' who
spends her days reading, and begging her Four year
old daughter to STOP singing Wrecking Ball. She uses
too many hashtags, and has a collections of book
boyfriends as well as pictures of Stephen James on
her Kindle.
Melissa is an active member in her community; when she isn't busy with town work she's a Domestic Engineer, also known as a housewife. Her spunky personality and smart mouth often land her in the middle of trouble; but she's always got a spare ear, shoulder, and a fresh outlook for anyone who needs it. She has a love hate relationship with Politics, the NFL, and typically life in general. Music fuels her drive and ambition. Her dogs, nieces, and nephews are her "children", and her husband and family are her life. She collects candles and body sprays, typically of the Bath & Body Works variety, her favorite smells are Island Margarita, Freshwater Cucumber, and Mango Mandarin. She secretly judges people based on their favorite smells, she can't help it. She also loves the color black, and loves to change up her hair color. The youngest of four girls, she's able to talk her way out of sticky situations and speaks Sarcasm fluently. She loves getting lost in a great story, but one day she'd love to publish one of her own.

Amy  is a writer, developmental editor, hoarder of books, MMA enthusiast, secular homeschooler, and self-proclaimed nerd who would rather be at home watching Doctor Who on Saturday night, punching a heavy bag at her gym, or curled up with her daughter , mister, and two cats having family reading night than out on the town, dealing with people. She loves music of all genres and decades and thinks that the artistic integrity of 80′s hair bands is often misunderstood. She thinks that Lloyd Dobler is the perfect man and "Wonderwall" (Ryan Adams version)  is the best love song ever.  She lives, loves, reads, and writes in New Orleans.

Amber Johnson is a wife and mother, a reader and a writer, a lover and a fighter... sorry I got carried away.  After writing for many years in the Twilight Fandom, Amber has recently taken steps to publish her own original work.  So far she has published 3 books on her own; Where We FellBeatless, & Puddle Jumping.  She also has three books publishing with The Writer's Coffee Shop; Eight Days A WeekMaybe, & For Authentication Purposes.  She is someone I love and respect and whose opinion I trust completely.  She is my lobster and I thank her for taking the time to read books that I suggest and to share her thoughts here with me.
