When I signed up to read The Accidentals, I was really unsure what I was getting into. Is it a rockstar romance, a sweet coming of age YA romance, or a story of familial restoration? I only knew that it was a YA and it was written by Sarina Bowen, and honestly, do you need to know more than that? I was pleasantly surprised to find that The Accidentals was all of this and more.
This story was sweet and entertaining. There were times I felt that my heart might actually break and other times when I was overwhelmed by the forgiveness and hope found in a particular chapter. It was a definite step outside of Sarina Bowen's usual playing field, but I am grateful that she took that plunge.
