DEEP SURRENDERING Synopsis:
When Fin ran out on Marisol, leaving her naked on her couch, she swore she was done with him. There was no way she would forgive him, let alone see him again. But fate, or something else, had different ideas, and she ran into him again the very next day.

Instead of hating his guts and wanting him to die, Marisol finds that’s she’s still attracted to Fin. She just can’t get him out of her system. Maybe if they had one night together? Just one night and she could get over him. But will that be enough?

DEEP SURRENDERING (Episode 2 Excerpt)

“Why do people treat us like this? Is it us or them?” Chloe said. I hated it when she pointed out things like that. It just made me examine my life choices, and that wasn’t always a fun thing to do.
“It’s them. Definitely them.”
She nodded. “Definitely them. We’re awesome. Anyone who can’t see that is an asshole, and they don’t deserve us anyway.”
“Hear, hear,” I said, holding up my fork. She smacked it with her spoon and we went back to recovering.
Chloe tossed the empty ice cream container on the counter and folded her hands over her stomach. “But if they treat us this way, is it because we let them? I mean, H-Harmony and I had problems long before it ended. But I was too in love to see it.” I knew what she meant. I’d been blinded by love before. We all had.
“I don’t know, Chlo. I’m beginning to think it’s me. I must be attracting the wrong people. Or the wrong people are attracted to me. I guess it’s a little bit of a chicken and egg question.” We had a conundrum on our hands. One I wasn’t sure if we’d ever solve, not really.
“We just do the best we can, right?” she said.

“Right. Do the best we can.”

Deep Surrendering (Episode 2) is the second novella in spinoff series that, according to the author will amount in total to about two books worth of material. This series centers on Fintan and Marisol’s rollercoaster ride chasing love. Mari is a vanilla, ‘take her home to meet your momma’ type of girl. Fin is a nice guy, with a bad boy hiding just behind his crisp suits, with secrets damn near coming out of his ears.

Episode 2 offers a small glimpse into the beginning of a rocky, but promising romance. So far, we are just starting to peel back the layers on Fin and his dark past. Mari knows he is bad news, but you know how it is when you are just drawn to a man like he is the jelly to your peanut butter? Yeah, it’s like that. They each surrender a bit for their chance at a relationship together. Mari gives in to her desires and gets involved sexually earlier than she is comfortable. Fin keeps coming back, which is new for him. He has never had a relationship, never even dated a girl he was screwing. Their relationship boils over and cools quickly, so far. Will they be able to maintain the heat without burning each other? I hope so, because I will definitely be reading the rest of this series.

DS (Episode 2) is entertaining, funny, charming, a bit sad and sexy as hell. Oh, and the little bit of bondage really fucking helps with the sexy. This lil’ baby is short and sweet, just how I like my men. WAIT NO! That’s not even remotely what I like. Gimme more dammit! Longer, faster, harder! Anyway, I read this novella quickly and it was a fun read. I’m emotionally invested, but it’s not destroying my feels-o-meter, which I appreciate. There is no cliffhanger, no book lag. I dig it.

Chelsea M. Cameron is my boo, I’d totally have her back in a knife fight. Or we could go shopping together and drink lots of Tequila? Whatever works. This chick writes hot sex, great chemistry and damn it, is she funny. She writes about friendship with such ease, you know she has some of the best girlfriends ever. I’m jealous; I wish she was my friend. Ok, I’m done fangirling…
