One thing everybody always thinks about this time of year is setting goals or making resolutions. I'm here to help you set some goals for 2015. Below you will find various reading challenges to help you stretch your reading comfort zone. Some I am participating in this year. Others I have participated in previously. Just know that there is no wrong reading challenge. Take a look and pick one, then let me know which one you have chosen. I would love to follow your progress throughout this upcoming year.
The Monthly Key Word Challenge is just what is says. There are key words for each month and the challenge is to read a book with those words in the title. This is one I am participating in this year. You can find out more HERE!
This one is the Popsugar reading challenge. On it you will find things like 'Read a book with more that 500 pages', and 'Read a book by an author with your same initials'. It looks like a lot of fun. You can learn more about this challenge HERE!
I participated in this one last year, but did a horrible job at updating. The challenge is simple. Set a goal for the number of actual, physical books you want to read this next year. In a world filled with e-readers, it's easy to overlook "real" books, but there is just nothing like the smell of a new book and nothing compares to the feeling of actually turning the page of a book. You can learn more about this challenge HERE!
This is a very low pressure challenge -- the whole idea is to have fun and read some books that censors have tried to keep off the shelves. You can find out more about this challenge HERE!
This challenge comes with prize drawings every three months. How's that for incentive? You can learn more about the Full House Reading Challenge HERE1
I've done this before without realizing that I was actually participating in a challenge. Planning ahead took away the question of "What do I read next?" and it was fun. You can learn about this challenge HERE!
This challenge includes the book covers. The color may be mentioned in the title or may just be the dominant color on the cover. You can learn more about this challenge HERE
I searched READING CHALLENGES on Pinterest and found TONS.
